Gekkoso's new tool, the Clip Palette, is a small aluminum palette that fits in the palm of your hand and can be clipped onto a sketchbook or notebook.
The brush is sandwiched between the "bottom layer" of the paper, so it doesn't get in the way of the drawing surface at all, allowing you to move your hand freely. The two separate color areas allow for bold color matching even though they are small, and there is a groove for placing the brush so it won't roll away.
If you want an accurate record, you can leave it to your smartphone. But the color of the sky, the smell of the air, the brightness and humidity, and the unique emotions of that moment can only be captured in the depths of your heart by observing carefully with your own eyes, slowly looking into your heart, and tracing with your hand. It may not be accurate, but the sketch will become a memory that will last a lifetime.
